Daily Deviation

Given 2010-02-20
You can't help feeling happy when looking at :Rainbows and Stars: by =pixelledanddead - and yet there is a kind of mischievious look in the girls eye and the way she hold that apple. Will the rainbow horse convince her to give it up by looking so incredibly pretty? ( Suggested by `Emerald-Depths and Featured by `brgtt )

First of all, I must say that when I first saw this piece it simply blew me away. I spent forever staring at the colors. It's almost like a scene where the apple is a forbidden fruit, and she's taunting the horse, but at the same time warning him against eating it. I find the colors to be vibrant, exactly on the point of being too vibrant, but at the same time being just perfect. The way everything flowed amazed me, and I have a hard time finding anything I don't like. My only little thing is the horses body structure. It's fitting, but not real. My time with equines, and my study of them makes me notice the little oddities of the body of this one. They're small though, and hardly noticeable. :D I still to this day want to run away with the horse, and if I had an imaginary friend, this is what I would picture. This definitely deserved it's DD.

This piece is just absolutely amazing. Every part of this deviation is fantastic, from the girls shoes to the horses star. This superb, high quality, flawless picture has really left me in awe and is quite inspiring. My favourite part about this picture is the horses mane, its fantastic colours and amazing detail really leaves me admiring the ability of the artist, generally the use of colour throughout is amazing, the rainbows really work so well. The shading in this has been done very well and really shows off the curves and beauty in this deviation. The effort that you have put into this really shows, Great job pixelledanddead.
